WHY the circular economy spins?

With the increasing number of circular economy events starting with conferences, workshops and ending with awards I do ask myself it is only me who do not see results.

I tried to discuss this topic with circular economy experts but faced anger and ignorance, so I start the investigation myself and what I found is not nice. I say this to prevent all who believe the circular economy is the next god, to stop reading because I do not want to disappoint you, do I?

The circular economy concept was introduced more than 30 years ago, even more (1966), I think this is a time long enough for one generation life, to be lived and still since the very first moment of awareness to the topic the very opposite happens in the world of business and in the society.

SINGLE-USE become standard, MONEY rules and QUANTITY is the only criteria of success

Have you noticed who sponsors and support the majority of circular economy events and the organizations who fight for years and decades the battle for the circular economy?

The WASTE INDUSTRY players, FINANCE INSTITUTIONS and GOVERNMENTS

From all of them, the WASTE INDUSTRY is represented on every single event, proudly holding the circular economy flag and batch saying WE DO OUR BEST

Let me just check — do the waste industry knows that if CIRCULAR no, or very limited amount of waste will be generated and must be managed afterward?
