WASTING — The Missing Link
We produce waste. A lot of waste, but it seems like we are not wasting
Looking at google we learn that wasting is
Looking at WIKIPEDIA we learn that wasting is
Looking at LINKEDIN daily rundown Europe we learn that
But looking around with eyes open we find out
A lot of waste but not wasting. The reason is that it seems to me (as a foreigner) that the English language, one of the most used languages for business does miss that word in the meaning of “PRODUCING WASTE”
The language knows better
But, considering the reality, it seems like one word can change the mindset of many, who do not know and proceed and proceed and proceed WASTING.
As mentioned recently in another of my articles many languages have a separate word for wasting and it can be clearly said
WASTING IS INCOMPETENCE and INCAPABILITY OF MAN TO UTILIZE PRODUCT or MATERIAL
Yes, it is.
It is not plastics. It is not packaging. It is not CO2.
It is the MAN, or better to say HUMAN, who is WASTING what he or she has and generates through this process even more waste.
No matter what we are talking about, the wasting is present everywhere, but we fail to name it in English, so I do it. Not now, I do it since 2010 already using the word for the first time in the business environment of Japanese corporation I have to defend the reason for using the word and preferring it before Japanese MUDA.
In recent days with the pressure of the public, the number of projects related to waste collection increased by hundreds of percent, causing nothing else than WASTING similar to RECYCLING which tough everyone to separate the waste, which at the end is being processed and utilized in less than 10% of the volume.
The DIXONS DIXIONAIRY has selected as the word of 2018 the word SINGLE-USE, it would be great if this year can WASTING in the meaning of producing the waste took this place, but it will not. Instead of that CLIMATE EMERGENCY will step into its place.
This, so as the melting of ready-made Brexit coins due to the change of date is WASTING, and I never considered it would be me, the unnoticed one, who will change the language of billions.
