WASTE BIN, MEETING PLACE

In the city of Plzen, where I live for more than 20 years, decided the city council to invest millions in the underground waste storage as the solution to face the growing waste issue and dirty streets.

On carefully selected places have been located, after intense three-month work, installed containers and with the support of media took place the grand opening ceremony, making the city a better place.

The first ones have been installed four years ago, despite the information which pointed out that WASTE WILL NOT DISAPEAR IF WE SWIPE IT UNDER THE CARPET.

Since 2015 the underground containers, which installation cost millions and maintenance is 300% more expensive than the standard, have been installed on multiple locations and the result

The waste companies who profit from installation and maintenance cost increase asked as result for more underground waste storage to be approved and do not bother explaining why

• there is no compression taking place to bellow the ground
• the waste management cost increased by 100% in the city despite the promises to reduce it by 50%
• the streets are dirtier than before

I visit a lot of cities and places thanks to my work and every time I see the same — MORE WASTE BINS, MORE WASTE.

Have a nice day free of waste and wasting in all its forms and don´t believe waste companies and waste industry will support you in that, you have to fight with them instead.
