THE TROUBLES WITH THE LIVING PROPHETS

The author, philosopher, and singer wrote this song in the time his country was in the hands of a foreign nation, which in August 1968 “delivered freedom” by making the communist's regime stronger with the support of armed forces.
He was one of the prophets
Not the one visible in the holy books of religions, or painted on the beautiful stained glass windows of the churches, but he remains the man who stays in the hearts of many, not being able to live in his own country he delivered courage across the border.
It was before the internet. The only social media was the television (2 channels) and radio and still despite the ban, his songs sound in many living rooms and on many private gatherings.
I am wondering why people fear living prophets, waiting for the deaths of those who say the right words in the right place but at the wrong time.
I try to find the answer and asked on multiple occasions the following question. Whom would you prefer to ask if you will have the opportunity?

For different groups, I selected different name of a personality which we can call the prophet. What was surprising was how similar the answers
91% would be thrilled to meet the Famous man or woman and choose the option number two
7% would prefer to meet the person before leaving the world and choose option number three
Only 2% of all participants say they would like to meet before the person gets famous and choose option one. From them 50 % reasoning the decision by own age (young people, children, and students)
These results prove the words of KAREL KRYL we prefer to wait until it is too late or somebody assigns the POPULARITY or CELEBRITY sign.
There are many prophets living in between us and we waste the opportunity to learn from the source waiting someone deliver the acceptable “translation”

When gone, only conjecture will be the answer on question which was not asked before and this is wrong.
