THE SIZE OF THE DESK

Since 2013 I am having my own office, my WorkPlace. It is situated in the center of Plzen city, in the Czech Republic, Europe on planet Earth.

My work desk size is 80 x 40 cm

Since 2013 the same, for seven years already.

In all the years there have been many who asked me, looking at this desk, where is my work desk, because for many it represents only a side table or desk for the printer, not for me.

My table is 22 years old, it was bought for my telecommuting office back in 1998 and stored for more than 10 years in the cellar. The green chair behind the table is the only equipment I bought for my own WorkPlace, to relieve the pain of my back. I bought it at the time of moving into the place, 7 years ago.

All the rest made by my own hands from the production surplus identified during the realized INDUSTRIAL UPCYCLING projects.

Why it is so important?

The value of my space is not in the only two items purchased in a shop, the “new” things, but it is in all the rest, created by my own hands.

The comment on the size of the table usually does not start our conversation, but end it up, after the visitor spends an hour going through all the other items located there. Nobody asked me if he or she can sit in my green chair, but all ask if they can take a seat in the chair pictured above.

The true value is not set by the price tag

It is by true love to work and creation

It is not the size of the desk, the brand of your phone, the price tag of your car. All of these are just placebo of the real value
