Yesterday I got into bad with the name of the article sounding in my head. Today in the morning I woke up with the same and after the arrival in my WorkPlace I sat down to start writing.

Before doing so, I checked if I did not already use this name before. I open The WASTELESS WORLD story, press “CTRL F” and input the word “GIANT”. I was surprised because instead of the expected “first” article named THE GIANTS ARE BLIND published on August 8th, 2019, I was delivered a very different article first.

WEAKNESS OF THE GIANTS

published on December 3rd, 2014

five years before I was surprised on my birthday with the book NEGOTIATING WITH GIANTS.

I forgot completely about it so I read the article through again and again and I was surprised that it truly makes prequel to the new set of articles related to the GIANTS.

The year 2020 started with the silence of the giants

it was not the pandemic, but the fear combined with the fact, that many already dead speaking just through the words of the servants, which do not want to accept the breadwinner is dead.

Nothing being heard for months, the only what remember us on their existence, are the shadows that did not disappear yet.

BIG BOARDS, WHITE PAPERS, ANNUAL REPORTS, JINGLES, SLOGANS, and PRESS RELEASES, all just shadows of the past. They keep us think the giants are here, but they are gone already.

The streets of America under fire.

The streets of Brazil covered with dead bodies

The streets of India empty in lockdown times

All connected by one image.

The giants are gone

Instead of the sound of the voice of thunder, we listen to the whisper of the wind in the branches of the trees not covered by the everyday dust generated by never-ending traffic and smoke of the industrial chimneys.

One by one the shadows disappear thanks to the sun and leaves on the trees

Instead of the thread, just the memories

swiped again one by one

into the garbage of

wasteful memories

At the “end” of the pandemic, one by one old giant's faces is being presented with new smiles. Just the makeup on the dead face.

We can live giant-less lives.

Just one is needed

DO IT

and stop to belive the shadow hand holds your ladder tight to protect you
