THE POWER OF TOUCH
Analyzing the reason for the high success ratio of INDUSTRY 5.0 related projects (95% success rate) I came to one aspect, that makes them different from others. It is the POWER OF TOUCH.
In the age of digitalization, virtualization augmented reality, and 3D virtual reality, it seems like the TOUCH is missed by many.
New technologies feed eyes, ears, make brains confused by the perfection of virtual worlds, but the touch and feel stay on site. I know gloves for virtual reality already exists delivering better and better feeling, same as the skin of the real dolls, but no matter how perfect, there is still something missing.
It is strange, but it is not the perfection, but UNPERFECTION
This seems to be the key
Recognized centuries ago, not only WABI-SABI but the work of many makers deliver not perfect, but functional products that have been loved by its owners and handed over from generation to generation.
The value is not marked by the price but its authenticity and originality
It is a while ago when we exchanged originality for uniformity
Uniforms
Uniform Closing. Uniform Furniture. Uniform Cars. Uniform Houses. The results of UNIFORM EDUCATION and norms and laws that push and support uniformity.
From one to another have handed uniformity the industrial revolution, delivering more and more, no matter what, important was only more, and with this, the demand for speed of production arrived to deliver MORE.
At the same time, the connection between demand and production was broken. BUSINESS PLANS based on FINANCIAL TARGETS have become reality. Managers spend more time on preparing and presenting numbers, than on management itself. Everybody cheers up looking at the arrows heading up again. Leaving with depression from all the lies presented. People return home and start manual work for they would never be able to touch a number or a chart the same as they do with a piece of metal, wood, or soil.
HUMANITY was created in the heads, but nourished by the hands of HUMANS. If we leave it in the heads, it will disappear being put aside by more important topics, like PROFIT, FORTUNE, NEW CAR, TITLE, FUNCTION, POWER, and much more.
INDUSTRY 5.0 is based on individual creativity, on the ability to find a solution where nobody searched before. It is not important that the result is not perfect for next time would be better
and better again for everything is better than to see the fruits of our work and nature support in the waste containers being treated as waste in volumes you can hardly imagine if never been to a factory
This is just one shot in a factory wasting 150.000–200.000 kg of fruits and vegetables every single month and this is the reality. The company has five factories with similar waste output, this means in a year 9.000.000 kg. I am speaking about one factory only, one of many.
The issue is that if you don´t touch the issue you ignore it.
If you touch, you will remember forever.
Same as if you burn your finger on the fire, you will remember fire is hot and you will not do it on purpose again.
INDUSTRY 5.0 and systematic waste prevention NEEDS and is BASED on TOUCH.
Please do, don't be worry, your hands would get dirty, you can wash them after.
