The Future is HandMade

You may ask WHY THE HELL should be in the age of virtual reality, hypercomputers, internet, and 5G the future made by hand.

Because it will or do you have any other solution for me?

The whole world in the meaning of places people live in, houses, cities, streets, factories and much more are the fruits of hard work of the hands. Hands that have been part of bodies that turned to corpses a long time ago.

We live in the places built by the dead ones for the living ones,” says the Prophet in Khalil Ghibran's book. He is right and it does not matter which God you believe in or if it is only the money that counts.

The header image shows the origami phone stand I made during one of the INDUSTRIAL UPCYCLING workshops. It is made from a material which for many years was rated by its producer as trash and trouble, being treated as waste. The producer face monthly growing waste management bills before- Now he finds out there is another way.

Our hands made us special. In connection with our minds we are able to see what none of the technology can do, we see the possibilities, which nobody saw before.

It is no shame to work with hands, it should be a privilege, not a punishment or pain.

“Every painting starts with the first stroke” can be read in another book, three hundred years earlier, written on a different continent in a very different time. Despite that, both fit together like one hand into the other helping to understand the complexity of being.

The future would be built by hands

Like our contemporaneity

from hands of few for the lives of many

The true treasure is in our hands not on our bank accounts and this is what makes us special.

In many decades we pushed the work of our hands into the grey zone of poor and not educated, into the hands of slaves and servants. One famous factory owner means thousands of nameless hands.

We repeat the names we see on the signs, staying away from the ones who engrave them or paint. Blue-collar or boiler suit is nothing compared with the white waistcoats and collars of leaders.

There is a difference. The hands dirty from work can be cleaned by a soap under the gentle stream of water, the hands dirty with blood and unhappiness of others suffering because of our feeling of satisfaction will never be clean again, no matter how expensive the shampoo or soap would be.

The future is being built with our hands and this is why INDUSTRY 5.0 is the result of one man´s work. It is hand made and it will continue to grow as long as there would be hands that will not fear to sweat and become dirty.

The future is hand-made

if no hands

no future

will come
