THE FLOW
Speaking about the “FLOW” many imagine first THE RIVER and WATER. Standing or sitting on the river bank we watch the stream go by, silently or with noise, depending on the location that we choose for our observation.

But WATER IN RIVER is not the only one that flows.
What about TIME.
CARS ON THE STREETS, WORK, TRAINS on the RAILROAD TRACKS, WORK
There is much more to look at
We love the flow and despite our love, we build intentionally walls, and barriers to stop, or change the flow in a way that fits us better.
The dam on the river cut the stream in half, in favor to concentrate its power and transform it into electricity. Street lights on the roads doing the same turning flow into frustration if the “red wave hits. We try to stop the time by organizing it in schedulers and calendars, setting up meetings and meetups, in which we lose time instead of utilizing its true power.
In a world where industrial experts try to eliminate bottlenecks, there is one industry that truly enjoys the waste of others, the WASTE INDUSTRY, which is so proud of its name, a name that a long time ago was a synonym of shame.
TODAY THE SAME NAME REPRESENTS A SUCCESS STORY
The only industry that was able to legalize WASTING giving it a status of importance and normality.
In the times in which we speak about the shortage of all or most materials that shrinks the production and skyrocket the price are only the WASTE YARD locations growing same as the storage of goods that no one is buying and they become waste as well.

Which statement is right?
What is the cause and what is the effect?
For a long time, the waste industry sell its service as GOOD DEED, asking for nothing except for money and waste. Instead of good it does the EVIL for it is more profitable and after the entire planet turns into a landfill, every step and breath would be charged by the same families.
It should be the Governments that make the WASTE DAM obsolete and illegal same as the intention of turning the globe into a space landfill. The orbit shows what few are able to do in just a few decades of time being fulled by the money of others.
To turn a bottleneck into a useful tool is not hard, it is enough to look around or ask the beverage producers why their bottles have a bottleneck.
The solution is as simple as effective
STREAMLINE THE FLOW or in other words MAKE IT LEAN
For decades already exists a method used in lean projects it is named VALUE STREAM MAPPING “VSM” identifies and visualizes the operations with and without the added value and compares them.
STORAGE and TRANSPORT are among many others rated as operations without added value.
Transferred into WASTE INDUSTRY regulation the waste flow barriers must be eliminated and restricted, by the sharp setup of the flow and process, and implementation of digital and non-digital tools to control and evaluate the processes.
For each and every government on the national so as local or regional level the WASTE PREVENTION LEGISLATION should be the primary tool that serves as the groundstone for healthy and sustainable development
