The drowning man catches the straw

This old Czech proverb came to my mind reading the next article related to the plastic straw revolution. The article name materials which can be used to avoid plastic and still have the single-use pleasure.

There are hundreds or thousands of similar articles. Many producers come with one or the other solution and it looks like, THE WORLD IS SAVED, we ban the plastic straw.

I am sorry but I have to disappoint you.

THE WASTE INDUSTRY WOULD BE INSTEAD

There is simple and I hope understandable explanation.

No matter which material your straw would be made from, if you use it once, it will become trash after the single-use.

Nothing less, Nothing more.

I just wonder why it should be me, who spend the time to ask the first question, but I love it, so here is mines today

DO WE NEED A STRAW?

Maybe there is a way how a man and woman would be able to drink without.

P.S. If you leave the straw for ill and people in needs, the global production can be done in a single factory and then the last, so as any other material would be fine and because especially the people in need do not use the straw a single time but do it again and again and again.
