THE DAY AFTER
I am probably not the last one who saw the movie THE DAY AFTER describing the days after the NUCLEAR WAR. It was produced in 1983 in the US and despite being of “capitalist production” in my “socialist country” it was on TV. I was 12 and it make a lot of impact on me.
Today TV and the internet are streaming live from WAR, Hurricanes, and Floods and it leaves no impression at all on children of the same age for which become death and misery just part of the streaming, same as for adults, with the eye-flaps on have difficulty to recognize wrong and right.
I am writing these lines on December 25th, 2022, one day after my 51st Birthday, which I celebrated in a snow-less city and as every year on the closed golf course with the ride on my EUC, recording my ride
I do it for the last 8 years and it was beautiful again. Compared to previous recordings, you can hear my comments.
More and more frequently I sing and speak to myself aloud, training my voice to deliver messages to others and my brain to interact.
I can comment on what was, but I can not change it and this is why I use my experience and talk about the future. I had a great friend that envision the future for a longer time than me to whom I can speak every week in our WASTELES WORLD TALKS, which we started to record a few months ago after almost a year in which our Wednesday meetings become part of our lives
We do the same. We are not drowning in the past, but swimming in the future.
There is no reason to try to change the past because the only one that can be changed is the future.
It will be soon a decade since I started on the shore of BLUE OCEAN the construction site of WASTELESS WORLD. I did so because there was nobody in the world that try to prevent waste to happen in industries, so I did it myself and it works.
In four months it will not be one day after but 3650 days after and do you know what, instead of damage and destruction, the WASTELESS WORLD shows a piece by piece its face to all.
Six months ago I have a great discussion with my next friend, a man who looks at the future helping others not to fear it, Jose de Souza
We agreed that fear is one of the wastes that should be prevented, but at the same time should remain to protect ourselves. I do remember the discussion with my GrandDad, where we discussed the same topic and came to the same conclusion. FEAR should not be the tool of power, but it should protect against such power instead.
We light up the Ginger House on Christmas Eve.
We scare the fear away
Instead of looking back, we look straight forward towards the days that will come just once and never come back again.
Day by day, Hour by Hour, Minute by Minute, and Second by Second. When gone, it will never return again. This is why the EUROPEAN COMMISSION is not able to say they introduced INDUSTRY 5.0 because they came 6 years later.
The DAY AFTER “TODAY” is the key.
Not yesterday, not tomorrow, but today is the time to act, so this is what I do and I am happy so many do it with me, in the harmony of action.
