THE BLIND TRUST IN THE SYSTEM AND SIZE
With the following sentence started the CEO of NASDAQ company one of her first LINKEDIN post in 2023
“At Nasdaq, we hold a key role in the world’s economy and have been on a journey to evolve the role that we play and support within the wider ecosystem, building on our foundational markets businesses to become a technology provider serving the global economy with the goal to become the trusted fabric of the financial system.”
It is a strong statement, supported by many NASDAQ employees, but does it correspond with reality?
Does really global “service provider” is the key to the world economy?
Will following the same model in the time of faster and faster changes be enough for keeping its position?
I don't think so and this is what I expressed in my comment on the original article
It is interesting that the author herself has not reflected on or replied. You may say that authors in such a role can not reply to every comment, but I would like to point out that one day after publishing there have been just five comments and only one “controversial”

It created its own business model, its own importance, its own playground, own rules, but what it does not own are the root of the numbers.
According to WIKIPEDIA, it is the biggest stock market
I did not know that NASDAQ is an abbreviation of the National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations Stock Market and especially the last two letters woke up my interest.

If automated, where the numbers came from?
Despite of application of AUTOMATION which should represent “low-cost labor” the profitability of the company is growing. The reason is the fact that it counts on its size and habit to be understood as someone who must be paid to have numbers listed.
The same is with many other entities that build their existence on the same principles, creating the image of a GIANT, not realizing that
The size should grant the power.
Does it really in the speeding tact time of a melody sung for so long already?
It is fascinating to read “old” words with “new” meanings without feeling the pressure or needs to change them.
The system is one of the GIANTs and it is dead already
it is time to stop feeding them forever
