OMNIPRESENT SMART CITIES
Just a few days ago I was invited to join several smart city projects in several countries including Czechia, Hungary, Ghana, Malaysia, and other destinations. The invitation is the follow-up of the growing INDUSTRY 5.0 AMBASSADORS NETWORK that counts on April 10th. 2021 Fourtefine names and countries already giving local access to systematic waste and wasting prevention tools to more than 52% of global human population.
Network and visibility, together with the eight years of continuous construction of wasteless world have been the groundstone for the network growth
In my last article published on April 12, 2021, I have touched on the theme of SMART CITIES and promised to come back to them and here we are.
All the projects I am requested or asked to join are connected by one image, the image of omnipresent digitization of all aspects of life including work, transportation, leisure, education. Reading one by one we can say that the image of SMART CITY deliver following
- Calm environment
- Silent invisible communication
- Seamless transportation
- Space reduction
- The place to stay and return to
Looking at these criteria I have realized that I have already been to such a city. Not during an event or exhibition, Not after paying admission, and not on a single location. In fact, the SMART CITY concept has been realized by many a long time before the name was introduced.
Unfortunately, another name was chosen, and this makes smart cities invisible for centuries, which does not mean, they are empty, in fact, these are the only cities that every year counts more and more inhabitants.
The original name of the cities is NEKROPOLIS and many call them CEMETERIES
No, I am not joking.
Look few lines above and tell me which one of the conditions defined for SMART CITY does not fit.
In one of my favorite book, the author said that
“WE ARE LIVING IN THE CITIES BUILD BY THE DEAD ONES FOR THE LIVING ONES”
He is right. Despite the fact, we are able to live in an environment established frequently centuries ago, in an environment that withstands wars and natural catastrophes many say OLD is BAD, we have to do NEW and SMART.
The funny part of the story is that this is not the first time I am opening this smart city idea. I already did on November 16, 2015
And three years later I touch on the topic of SMART CITY from another angel
The WASTELESS WORLD STORY is long many stories have been published since 2014 and many will be published after this one, but one will not change, the direction into WASTELESS WORLD.
To get there it is important to open the eyes of people to change the mindset of people and businesses from WASTEFUL TO WASTELESS
Speaking for myself I do not need to live in a city full of smart technology if it would be a city full of WISE HUMANS respecting each other, helping, and acting in a way called HUMAN or HUMANITY.
To do so many old habits and standards has to be changed and recognized if just the lies are behind and only personal profit is the intention
The omnipresence of SMART CITIES in a form of CEMETERIES is simply given by the fact that people keep are passing by. They did in the past, they do today and they will do in the future. What change is the way how we say good-by, but many of the living ones still prefer to go to the grave or to the resting place to share, speak to those who are gone and tell them what is new, what they have achieved, and what they have lost. Despite the fact the DIGITAL CEMETERIES have been introduced in Japan more than two decades ago, they did not become favorited by the dead ones and not by the living ones as well.
Back n 2018 helped me NOKIA 6310i to cut my addiction on SMARTPHONE, since that moment I call my old NOKIA a WISE PHONE.
It can not take images, it can not store thousands of contacts, it does not allow me to browse the internet and check social media posts, but
IT LET ME CALL OTHERS AND RECEIVE THEIR CALLS
This is what a device called the phone was invented for
It helps me to understand that the addiction on the smartphone was established through NOTIFICATIONS, so I switched them off, all, except for Calling and SMS
Today instead of unlocking my phone up to 300 times a day I do it 10–20 times which gives me the possibility to use natural, instead of artificial intelligence and the brain of my smartphone.
Countries and governments, same as municipalities invest millions into the virtual image of the SMART CITIES. SMART POLES. SMART CAMERAS. SMART TRAFFIC LIGHTS. SMART ROADS. SMART PLASTER. SMART PAVEMENTS. SMART BUILDINGS. SMART CHARGERS.
The only one who is missing in the picture is the HUMAN
probably because it is not smart enough and will make the picture look bad
Think about it. I did and this is why INDUSTRY 5.0 will not end up before the WORLD would be free of waste and wasting in all its forms and the cities would be inhabited by WISE PEOPLE who do understand that it is better to prevent waste happen once instead of paying and suffering from waste management cost and impact forever.
