LOW-HANGING FRUITS ISSUE
Many times in meetings, or in the media I hear the sentence that we should concentrate on the LOW HANGING FRUITS FIRST
Today I realized why
It is not because they are more sweet than the fruits at the top of the tree, or that they are riped faster or earlier. The only reason is that WE ARE LAZY and want to profit from that fruits without big effort.
PROFIT FIRST
It is one of the new economy mantras followed by so many
So many do not care that the HIGH HANGING FRUITS become waste first and do so in much bigger quantity anyone can imagine.
The LOW-HANGING FRUITS POLICY is the reason for the birth and death of the UNICORNS and dreams.
However, it is not the fruit that is the wine, but those who gather it
Same with the waste and wasting as specified in the WASTE PREVENTION LEGISLATION
Everyone can pick the low-hanging fruits, this is why everyone is doing so trying to be faster than the others, so the criteria for success is not the sweetness or taste of the fruit, but the speed at which the fruit was picked.
This is why we are being told to RUN and not to WALK
When running, we have no time to think, the only that matters is to be THE FIRST.
Those who never try to pick on the tree top will never become true leaders and game changers that instead of their own comfort prefer the achievement that can hardly be evaluated in money.
It is fascinating to me that no one said that before
despite NATURE giving us every single moment the hint and advise
I never considered speed to be the core of success, but proper timing instead, so if we set up to pick from the top and ends of the branches, and go down to the low-hanging fruits, we would be able to have the most valuable and tasteful fruits for a long period of time, not just for few moments instead.
