JUST CURIOUS
Do you remember the comfort of being JUST CURIOUS?
No intention, No reason, No aim, No goal
You were just curious
It was a great feeling
Today in the morning I listened to the words of the Founder of MONTHY PYTHONS who was explaining why some people need more time to make a decision. One explanation was that they enjoy the state of curiosity and do not want to leave it too early.
John Cleese nailed it
It is the case
When I have a meeting I am there usually 10 minutes before the start curious what will happen.
Do you do the same?
When in a workplace I see what is not being presented and ask questions that have not been asked before.
Do you do the same?
When at events, I am frequently the first one that ask
Are you the same?
When in schools, colleges, or universities, sharing my experience and knowledge I am on one level with students
Do you do the same?
I am sure if CURIOSITY is not an EXCLUSIVE feature served to HUMANS, in fact, I think it is in the same scale and size part of the life of all and I mean ALL
The only difference is that we HUMANS when we turn from CHILD to ADULT have no time to enjoy curiosity because there are different, more important topics, to concentrate on
- FOOD
- MONEY
- CAREER
- DEVELOPMENT
- SHINY OBJECTS
- HUNTING FOR MORE
It is interesting that with senior age, comes the curiosity again, but frequently the body does not allow, or at least limits the exploration of all the forms that curiosity can take.
It is not right, and I am happy that INDUSTRY 5.0 and my work inspired so many of all ages and professions.
You may noticed that I invite people to my office, which is the Birthplace of INDUSTRY 5.0. The reason is not that I am too lazy to travel, but the fact, that opening the door (every time) curiosity is being awakened no matter of age or gender.
Despite the fact that the place can not be duplicated, the same CURIOSITY source can and should become part of every workplace. Curiosity should become part of everyone's life again
Dr. Diane Hamilton for example is helping to CRACK THE CURIOSITY CODE but many can help. In fact, the best helper is the CHILD inside, which should not get suppressed but should become free
