INDUTHERMAL IS A NEW GEOTHERMAL

This image was taken 40 minutes ago from the roof garden in front of my office window.

It is not a screenshot from an apocalyptic movie, but an everyday image in which only the color of the sky change.

The regular readers will remember INDUSTRY 5.0 projects related to the power industry like

or

Many probably heard about GEOTHERMAL ENERGY

This is the type of energy utilized well in some (rather few, than more) destinations for power generation.

The GEOTHERMAL ENERGY takes the source, as its name indicates, from the hot heart of the planet, where the power is stored in a form of enormous heat. In some places, the heat penetrates the surface and is turned into electric power, in other places it is used to heat the food

It is really impressive to see a dwell that does not contain water, but hot magma, that turned into a tourist attraction.

Despite the “similar” distance to the hot heart, GEOTHERMAL ENERGY did not become a major source of power in too many countries. The reason may be

  • the expensive construction and infrastructure
  • the lack of control of the power

Following this technology I indicated several years ago another ON-THE-GROUND-MINE that can be utilized to generate electric power similar way as we do in geothermal plants, just with two differences

  • lack of need to build expensive construction and infrastructure
  • the ability to control the power

I call it INDUTHERMAL TECHNOLOGY using two words to differentiate it from GEOTHERMAL

  • INDU means INDUSTRIAL
  • THERMAL means heating

Just now you already know probably, where I am heading to. The idea was already described in my articles a long time ago, but I have no time to process it until today when NATURE and INDUSTRY remind me that it is the right time.

The idea is to use WORKING INDUSTRIAL CHIMNEYS to generate electricity from the heat that is being until now just “send” into the sky. I have already discussed it with the producers of horizontal turbines and it was confirmed that it will work, just the right material for the wind turbine blade and body must be considered.

Some chimneys do not serve to lead the heat from “fire” away but the heat from the process of power generation reaction that needs cooling so evaporated water would be the source of secondary energy in COOLING TOWERS which we know from example from nuclear power stations

Despite aiming for INDUSTRIAL CHIMNEYS, I would like to propose a solution for households equipped with their own source of heating, where the same, just on a smaller scale can be applied to reduce the winter and cold weather electric bills.

There are much more ON-THE-GROUND-MINES

They need just to be recognized and utilized because we have the technology that can be applied, just do not use it to do more than was described by the producer as the one and only function.

THE CORE TASK OF THE DAY is

PROSPECT AND DISCOVER WHAT NEXT CAN BE THE SOURCE OF POWER TO LIMIT THE DEPENDENCY ON THE FOSSIL FUELS

Have a nice day free of waste and wasting in all its forms, stay safe and free
