INDUSTRY 5.0: SPEED & AGILITY
Five years of developing and implementing the INDUSTRY 5.0 mindset and principles plus Twenty five years of the general business experience helped me to see many companies, businesses, and understand the variables.
One of them, which I meet every single time is the fact, that all production runs under strict time limits, planning is a must so as timed deliveries.
What is strange is the fact, that many companies and businesses lose a lot of time through extensive negotiations, paperwork, and much more cutting time for the real production to minimum which causes the stress in production and logistics.
Before COVID-19 everyone excuses this behavior through the existence of habits and rules applicable to these “preparation” processes.
During COVID-19 from one day to another, habits become unusable. It was not possible to apply common rules either, but it was necessary to keep production running.
The results?
- 100% increase in creativity
- 100% fulfilled orders despite the fact lot of common parts of the supply chain missing
- 100% return of JOY OF WORK
All these aspects are linked directly to the fact, that the man (HUMAN) stopped for a while to be just CHEAP WORKFORCE, and become back his or her true meaning of life.
Machines become tools and that is fine
Better machines, better tools if we know how to use them
Within decades and almost century, rules and regulations pilled up, ended in mountains which only skilled guides of famous names can climb. Letting at the end proof of the tour in the form of CERTIFICATES of QUALITY, ISO, SDG and many more on the wall to remind everyone of the past.
Everywhere around the globe, except of CHINA, people took over and using own skills and adaptability to become self-sustainable and creative cutting down the addiction of BIG FACTORY called CHINA.
The question is why RAPID PROTOTYPING in CHINA can only materialize ideas if you deliver 2D or best 3D drawings in a data format. They do nothing else than print other man idea nd charge for the work and material. But for this we do not need CHINA, we need a 3D printer or the right machine for the job.
It looks like that many from those concentrating on just the volume of uniform products completely lost the agility and creativity. In INDUSTRY 5.0 they can find both and with it the joy of work.
Within days and weeks, people started to SEW FACE MASKS which show up later to do a better job than hundreds of millions of single-use surgical masks produced in China and sold overpriced to global buyers. No money back. All having certificate which is not worth the paper on which it was printed.
People invented new face masks, ventilators, overpressured checking stations, and much more and 99% of those have been invented and delivered outside of China.
We should not return to old bad habits but develop new ones incorporated the change as one of the building stones for the wasteless industry in the wasteless world, our world.
