INDUSTRY 4.0 score a bull’s eye
During the years of constructing and implementation of INDUSTRY 5.0, I frequently face one question which sounds like this:
“Mr. Rada, what is the difference between INDUSTRY 4.0 and INDUSTRY 5.0?”
In 2019 more and more frequently comes a second question as well
“Mr.Rada, what is the difference between CIRCULAR ECONOMY and INDUSTRY 5.0?”
For the difference between 4.0 and 5.0 I have all the time pointed at the lack of “Human” aspect in the newly developed world of the last industrial revolution. INDUSTRY 4.0 simply does not count with a man and his/her skills. All would be digitalized, al would be done by robots and people will just enjoy the free time and leisure time with granted income.
On July 9th, 2019 I had in my office two new business partners
Both visited the birthplace of INDUSTRY 5.0 for the first time, both surprised about the scale of items and products. Both become children on the exploration tour at once (both over 50)
During the discussion both asked me for the difference between INDUSTRY 4.0 and INDUSTRY 5.0 I do represent.
Short after their departure, in the late afternoon, after another 10 hours working day, I realized that the true replay, and reason of existence and global widespread support of INDUSTRY 4.0 is very different and so simple that it struck me down.
I have to do something and recorded the 72 seconds long answer on that question and uploaded to my YOUTUBE channel
Short after doing that first response came
It came from the owner of a company who lives from selling INDUSTRY 4.0 technology, HW and SW to industrial clients, he said:
THIS IS NOT TRUE, INDUSTRY 4.0 IS NOT JUST A SALES TOOL
Asking him what else it is, he did not replay
During my career and especially during my own independent career connected to my intention to build wasteless world by preventing waste happen I had several “SATORI”, ENLIGHTINGS or how would you name it. When these happen I feel it physically. I do not only feel the change, but I have a clear image and words needed to describe this. I see the path and start to walk.
This moment came to me once again when I named INDUSTRY 4.0 a SALES TOOL
Being old enough I know that to be sure I must check data, history, processes and I spend a night searching. One by one, stone by stone, the wall was constructed delivering the proof. I was right.
From the very first introduction back in 2011 in Germany, the sales aspect should be obvious but was never mentioned. It was a producer of machinery and technology — SIEMENS, which introduced INDUSTRY 4.0 first using the great imagination of the marketing department to show up own products connected to the name. And this worked and even better. The image of the industry fully controlled and tun by ROBOTS and TECHNOLOGY loved every economist, CEO, Investor so as Politician. The UN, WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM, INSTITUTES, and INSTITUTIONS love the idea, getting the man free of troubles, by the work done.
There have been two years between the first introduction and the launch on the same exhibition in Germany, but this time with the direct support of German President.
Others just follow the forerunner of Technology and Economy.
Nobody asked WHY, for the increasing production volumes can finally be kept without the increase in cost for manpower. This was the solution. INDUSTRY 4.0 is fueled by money and generates money, it is the holy grail of economy and business development.
At the time of launch, I started my entrepreneur career helping first companies to prevent waste happen and realizing, with the production volumes increase the volume of generated waste and wasting, but it took me two years before I was able to say why the direction is wrong and what has to change to correct it and that was the way INDUSTRY 5.0 was born. Not on the exhibition, not from the head of the marketing department, not from the full bank account, but in a simple office by a simple man, who recognized what has to change and how the change can be realized.
This is how INDUSTRY 5.0 was born.
Not as a sales tool, but as a mindset
As the change in its pure form of changing, free of limits and limitations.
This is the reason why I do protect INDUSTRY 5.0 to be misused and turned into another sales tool. This is why I act to speak later and do to speak first to be rewarded for stories, not for the results.
This is the reason why many many experts, politicians, business owners, have difficulty to understand WHY somebody should support INDUSTRY 5.0 development. This is the reason why so many do understand and give me a helping hand and expertize.
INDUSTRY 4.0 was a Revolution started by the rich to become richer as soon as possible, delivering money needed for more money to be created.
INDUSTRY 5.0 is the Evolution started from the ground, putting its roots in the soil, delivering all that is needed for life.
