HUMAN RIGHTS

This search result delivered after clicking on the link for the English version of the Human Rights Declaration in the Czech Wikipedia seems to me to be more than just a coincidence.

I was searching for some details on November 17th, 2020, exactly 31 years after the VELVET REVOLUTION that ended the long rule of the communist government in my own country. I was searching for that at the time when not only my country but almost all governments of the world including international bodies like the UNITED NATIONS, tear up the document presented on December 10th, 1948 by Eleanor Roosevelt into small pieces leaving nothing behind just silence and depression.

I wear my protection mask the same as billions wear their single-use protection gear, but I never stopped to speak. Since November 20th, 1989 I am expressing my opinion to the public, leaving hundreds of thousands of words behind delivering the possibility to all to think about.

There is only one title on my business card

and I feel I have to fight for my rights, so as for the rights of billion others who live on the same planet at the same time as I do, so as for the rights of those who would be born to live there.

Finally, I found the right link to the document which Eleonor Roosevelt hold on December 10th, 1948 in her hands, and reading through it seems to me that it was written for a different world being represented by a different organization than the one who keeps the same name does not fulfill the function.

It seems to me our rights have changed

We have the right to

  • be silent and listen instead of talk
  • stay behind the locked doors
  • move inside a circle made from work and home
  • shame for age, for 30+, is a stigma
  • shame for the color of our skin, because white is not black
  • follow different rules and laws than the lawmakers do
  • lose the right for the property as soon as it loses the ability to pay the bill

It looks like the DECLARATION reminds just a historic document with no real power, so it is the question of when it lost its power if it has any at all.

I am HUMAN and I am free to express myself and I do it for 31 years day, by day. I don't have to repeat the words once said just because somebody pays for my bread because if I do not bake my bread, I have no bread to eat.

On the same day, on November 17th, 2020 two articles have been published in my blogs

One in English written 20 days before and Czech written 11 months ago

Both expressing me and my approach to life and freedom of speech.

Two days ago I have recorded my next presentation. A keynote related to education in the age of INDUSTRY 5.0

In the name of freedom, we are losing freedom

In the name of equity, we lose the equity

In the name of HUMAN, we are pushed into a digital presence instead of a physical and we are being told to be the NEW NORMAL.

Not for me!

As long as I would be able to speak, I will speak.

As long as I would be able to create, I will create.

I AM HUMAN

and YOU?
