HOW TO RUN A DECADE OF ACTION
In October 2010 I started a project that turns into the key to the decade of action and not only that. It turns not only my life but the lives of many upsides down and created a completely new business environment that was named five years later INDUSTRY 5.0.
The project was named OWWP “One Way Wooden Pallets” project and aim the secondary utilization of the single-use wooden pallets frequently used for oversea shipping.
The reason for starting this project was for me the successful launch and implementation of another project called RTP MANAGEMENT. The project that ends up the losses of returnable packaging including industrial mainly EUR PALLETS (1200x800 mm), losses that cost the client up to 500.000 USD a year in “penalty” payments. When implemented across the national supply chain, losses drop to zero within one and only month and more than one million pallets and packaging units have been managed by two administrators for several years.
For me, it was a wake-up call thanks to which I start to see, there is something wrong. The something was the volume of single-use pallets that ends up in a landfill without being damaged or broken. All of them end up in waste containers and on a landfill and I found out, there is nobody in the world, who cares about systematic waste prevention in the industrial environment, there have been only companies that managed the waste.
For three years I realized other similar projects until the moment I feel I can not do anything else and I left my employer and started to fulfill my mission of BUILDING THE WASTELESS WORLD on my own, as an entrepreneur. At that time, in 2013 INDUSTRIAL UPCYCLING methodology was defined and applied for the first time. One year later, in 2014 the IBCSD LAB company was created to cover all the demand coming from the market, and in 2015 INDUSTRY 5.0 principles have been defined and the first industrial evolution ever led my man (HUMAN) started.
Since the beginning, over one million tons of products did not become waste
You may ask yourself why I tell you all of that, the reason is simple. In 2019 Prince William supported by Sir David Attenborough announced THE EARTHSHOT PRIZE which they call THE DECADE OF ACTION. It was on December 31st and I was so happy to hear that so I decided to offer my support in an open letter to them.
At that time I did not know that I have to wait for another 9 months to see any progress or new information, but it was so because it came on October 8th, 2020.
I started a DECADE OF ACTION with the action without promoting what is my plan, just by delivering the results. The EARTHSHOT PRIZE started with promotion and no results for a very long time of nine months. The time long enough to give birth to a child.
We grow up and work in different environment Prince William, Sir David, and me, but it does not mean our goal can not be the same, the first step should be finding the same language, the language of efficiency and work together following one and only aim TO PROTECT THE PLANET AND LIFE.
Every painting starts with the first stroke and the first line contains all lines that will follow, the same as the first act contains all the action that must come to complete the picture.
At the moment of the second announcement of the EARTHSHOT PRIZE, I have almost finished the first decade of my own action.
My action began after my own awakening. It started with the work of my own hands, with the money I have and during the whole period of time not a single time anyone gave me his or her money, funding my work. I use all spendings of my life to build up and lead and all the money generated by realized projects and fulfilled orders have been reinvested back into further projects taking us closer to the wasteless world, the place I love to become home for all.
I was 42 when I started the WASTELESS WORLD JOURNEY. Prince William was 37 when he announced his. He uses his famous face, position, and influence, I used my own hands, mind, and experience from 23 years of work within the environment I am changing.
I hope the second decade will take over the first one and continue because the ground stones provide an already strong platform to build the future on. Instead of on the top of pyramids, it will be built on stable blocks serving to next blocks. Instead of 3R was 6R delivered and applied.
I do believe Prince William and the team behind THE EARTHSHOT PRIZE will not waste my work, but use and utilize the results and finding and help to spread INDUSTRY 5.0 and systematic waste prevention globally using own influence and supporting financially as well for one man can achieve a lot, start the change of the world but transform the whole Planet into new and better HOME everyone is needed to help, support and put hands together. Not in WAR and DESTRUCTION but in PEACE and CREATION
