The definition of GENTLEMAN is changing with time

“Gentleman (Old French: gentilz hom, gentle + man; abbreviated gent.) is a term for a chivalrous, courteous, or honorable man.[“
In this definition are used two words which I never heard before
CHIVALROUS and COURTEOUS
The third term HONORABLE, I have heard many times, but its explanation in WIKIPEDIA is missing
I am sure no one of those who let others talk to them as HONORABLE know about this, they have too little time, because they have to act as if they are something more, something special.
I am sure as well that no one knows anything about the code of conduct mentioned in one of the original terms
“Chivalry, or the chivalric language, is an informal and varying code of conduct that developed in Europe between 1170 and 1220.”
In the last few hundred years, GENTLEMAN was usually a rich man with good manners
What represents GENTLEMAN today?
Money, Power, Behavior?
Do Gentlemans still exist?
I am sure they do. One is on the header image
Instead of expensive brand clothing, you will see him most probably in a T-shirt. Instead of having a driver driving him to his appointments, he sits behind the driving wheel or behind the motorcycle handlebars.
All money he earns in decades of hard work
If needed, he can and will fight for justice and future, but he prefers to work and talk after in peace
He created a great family sharing the beavior habits with all members, and all are of the same nature, having a great role model.
He never calls himself a GENTLEMAN
He will not let others call him HONORABLE
He is just HUMAN, and this is what he is proud of.
I spend already almost 10 years on the construction site of wasteless world. In this time I met many who call themself GENLEMAN, but not a single one was even close to the real meaning of the term.
Many feels like GIANTS
Many act as GIANTS
but GIANTS and GENTLEMANS are not the same
