FORGET GRETA, WELCOME IRENA

For the first seven months of the year 2019, Greta Thunberg makes the news. Many try to vilify the value of her action, Many glorify it, no matter what the name Greta stay in news almost daily.

At the first day of August, the situation should change and IRENA should take over.

Never heard of IRENA?

Among others, it is a common name in the Czech republic. The origin of the name is in old Greece „eirénaios“ or „eiréné“ which means PEACE, so the name IRENA can be translated into a PEACEFUL WOMAN.

I am not sure if any of this knows the people who introduced IRENA after creating it artificially before.

IRENA is The International Renewable Energy Agency

“Bonn, 1 August 2019 — The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and UN Climate Change (UNFCCC) are jointly ramping up efforts to fight climate change by promoting the widespread adoption and sustainable use of renewable energy.”

Isn´t it great? Two global organizations joint to save the world. IRENA, the younger one born in 2009, UNFCCC born in 1992 already.

Two bodies announced cooperation

“In a Memorandum of Understanding signed today in Bonn between the heads of IRENA and UN Climate Change, the two organizations have agreed to step up the exchange of knowledge on the energy transition, collaborate more closely at expert meetings, increase capacity building to promote renewables and undertake joint outreach activities”

Isn´t it great?

Let me think about it.

Let me ask another question

WHY IF STRONGLY FUNDED GLOBAL BODY WAS BORN ONE YEAR EARLIER THAN GRETA THUNBERG, WHY SHE HAS TO STEP OUT AND CALL FOR ACTION?

WHY IF UNFCCC EXISTS FOR 17 YEARS ALREADY IRENA HAS TO BE CREATED TO DO SAME WORK?

WHY UNITED NATIONS JUST CREATE AND SUPPORT ANOTHER ORGANIZATIONS JUST TO CREATE ANOTHER ORGANIZATIONS WHICH DEPEND ON MONEY, DELIVERING NOTHING THAN ADMINISTRATION AND RESULTLESS EXISTENCE?

Both bodies have been born as 1977 KYOTO PROTOCOL children. KYOTO PROTOCOL which claimed to improve the climate, by potting a price on waste. 42 years later the situation is worse, some call it critical and believe or not the CO2 EMISSION TRADE make many millionaires without even ever removing a single CO2 particle from the air.

Backed up by UNITED NATIONS, GOVERNMENTS, POLITICIANS, GREENPEACE, CIRCULAR ECONOMY EXPERTS, SCIENTISTS, CORPORATIONS, COMPANIES, funded by all, it delivered nothing than money.

Poor Africa, Nations on the move, Same situation, same global and local organizations, same result of never-ending funding.

Greta says it well, but does she knows she is on the way to become a similar symbol as the organizations mentioned above?

We do not need IRENA, we do not need UNFCCC, I even doubt we need UNITED NATIONS to recover the Planet Earth. What we need is WORK of HANDS, HARMONY of ACTION and COOPERATION of PEOPLE all around the world and what we need most is the CHANGE OF MINDSETS from WASTEFUL to WASTELESS, because THIS IS MY HOME! What is YOURS?
