Every Morning

Most of us wake up in the morning. Starting the day with the opening of our eyes in dark rooms dedicated to our sleep. Usually, we check the time and get up.

After the morning routine, we went to our job — office, factory, lab, school …

We start to work

Six years ago I discovered one more ritual common to all

We start to waste

It is common. It is a habit. It is so natural that we do not think about it. We just start.

We waste the paper. We waste information. We waste material.

We deliver the image of throw-away-society

We waste without even understanding we do. The value is not important.

We waste our time.

It is already 6 years when I realized this and decide to stop. I left a well-paid job and start a new one, consisting of hundreds and thousands of others — I started to prevent waste happen. I realized there are so many tasks I did not notice before, so many places and processes which just waste and waste and waste.

I do remember well the first day I decided to stop wasting my time and did not put a watch on my hand. It was one year after I left the corporate harbor. Since this day I never have a watch on my hand again.

I learned to live with the time, I learned to live with limited resources and what is most important I SEE and RECOGNIZE what does waste and wasting means. I am not just able to recognize this, highlight it, but I am able to find a way to reduce the waste volumes immediately on-site, at the moment of discovery.

With Greta Thunberg, which is going to cross the ocean on a sailing yacht at the moment, it seems like every businessman and celebrity so as companies and corporations want to change the direction — BE SUSTAINABLE, but the majority of declared changes has been finished at the moment somebody print it and read it to the public in a great PR campaign.

It seems like the Greta Call woke up many, which is true, but what is not seen is the fact that they fall back to sleep, for the Morning is far away and sleep is so sweet and the well-paid way to live our life.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY heroes deliver carousel of joy and happiness on each of the events. PLASTIC KNIGHTS beat it the clean shields blaming the Hydra delivering the next one switching from single-use to single-use.

Today in the morning @LeonardWong comment deliver next step in the mosaic, he named plastic a scapegoat of the trash away society and he is right. In fact, it is a scapegoat of industry and politics, which try to put the people back to sleep with beautiful dreams of the beautiful world, not revealing they wake up once into the nightmare of a life.

You have time to take your watch off, you do not need it.

What you need is to prevent waste happens and the right time is NOW.
