CARBON EMISSIONS TRAFFICKING
When in 1992 in RIO DE JANEIRO the CARBON EMISSIONS TRADING was introduced everybody cheers up to the idea that will stop the carbon emissions to make the breathing hard.
5 years late, in 1997 in KYOTO the DEAL WAS SIGNED
Since that moment every single year money is being paid to improve the air quality. Every single year MORE.
- MORE MONEY IS PAID
- MORE VOUCHERS ARE ISSUED
- MORE CONFERENCES ARE HOLD
- MORE AWARDS ARE GIVEN
- MORE CARBON EMISSIONS ARE IN THE AIR
All these parameters remind me of IVORY TRADE and HUMAN TRAFFICKING
The reason is simple. The true intention is to make money, not change
A few years ago I was asked to deliver my keynote speech to the international students of psychology who meet at a regular conference in Prague. I have learned that one of the VIP quests was psychologists who call himself to be one of the fathers of KYOTO PROTOCOL and CARBON EMISSION TRADING VOUCHERS.
He was very proud of his work speaking about the financial volume of transactions realized during project existence. When I asked him WHY NOT FEWER CARBON EMISSIONS GENERATED? he asked me, instead of answering my question for my academic education, and when I replied that I have no academic title, he stop communicating with me, enjoying the close presence of some of the female students to whom he plays the role of God himself.
The analogy between trafficking and trading of the carbon emissions is not a coincidence, frequently is just given a different name to something negative to receive a positive response. Instead of DIRTY COAL, it was called BLACK GOLD, which many do remember well. Instead of WASTE, we speak about RESOURCE and so on.
CARBON EMISSION TRADING makes a few very rich without moving a finger or without decreasing the volume of the carbon emission in the air. It become one of the most profitable E-TRADE models because it lack any fixed costs. No employees, no warehouses, no traffic, and generally no need to advertise because the governments, UNITED NATIONS, EUROPEAN COMMISSION, WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM, WORLD BANK and many more become the best advocates and “evangelists” promoting the CARBON EMISSION TRADING on every occasion, COP26 was no exception.
It took hundreds and maybe thousands of years for SLAVERY to become criminalized and despite that and the existence of DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS, you can find slavery in member states, who are even given the chance to lead the SECURITY COUNCIL of the UNITED NATIONS. Instead of being the main document and principles to follow, the DECLARATION becomes a part of the MUSEUM exhibition and attraction, nothing more. It becomes obsolete in the hands of Antonio Guterres and others.
Claiming CARBON EMISSION TRAFFICKING to be criminalized and called illegal with the same results, would be wasting of time, so this is why it is important to take away its growing profitability by reducing its attractivity through the decrease of the volume of the carbon emissions output and this is what INDUSTRY 5.0 serve to, among many other topics.
On JANUARY 1, 2022 will start the “17” project
INDUSTRY 5.0 GLOBAL RECOVERY PROJECTS that aims to RECOVER THE PLANET, SOCIETY, INDUSTRIES, and ECONOMY, not by taking us back to PRE-COVID times but to take us forward by avoiding the mistakes of the past to happen again.
I do believe the CARBON EMISSIONS TRAFFICKING will be left behind and know that in 17 months can be achieved a lot, save as 15 minutes can change the life of all
