The global CORONAVIRUS COVID-19 outbreak serves among others as KPI. It reminds me of a project named BANANA AS KPI presented to CE TESCO HQ in Garden city in London more than a decade ago.

In the BANANA AS KPI I have presented to the chief of the purchasing department not only new, easy to understand and control KPI, but a solution that can keep the “BAD LOOKING BANANA” out of the shelving system. The whole project was built on the long experience of Japanese SUMITOMO CORPORATIONS, which counts to a leading supplier of banana on the Japanese market, owning not only many of the shops, but warehouses, trucks, ships, so as the banana plantations.

To prepare the presentation I took many pictures of empty TESCO STORE shelves, moldy fruits and vegetables, and black spotted or unripe bananas. We have the first meeting, which was at the same time the last one.

The reason was not that one meeting was enough to stop this happen, but because the company management was angry somebody pointing out the issues in Czech republic stores.

Looking around today, the COVID-19 outbreak of the situation reminds me strongly of the reaction of TESCO STORES management. It seems like the action but in fact, it is not run, but balancing on the edge of the abyss.

In my INNOVATIONS WORKSHOPS, I do teach the students and participants among others that improving one segment of a supply chain, at least two are endangered. An only complex approach is the only solution. Not revolution, but evolution has to be respected and utilized to stabilize and improve.

Already at the beginning, I wrote about the collapse of WHO functionality, so what remains are countries and nations living in the areas marked on the maps as national borders.

Instead of increasing the cooperation by opening and sharing the information, one by one country encapsulates parts, or as a whole naming the step QUARANTINE. China officially, another following unofficially apply ban and censorship on negative news delivering the feeling of relief and improvement.

Is it one?

Does really from one day to another the CORONAVIRUS COVID-19 stopped to infect other people in a region where the outbreak cam from? Are the people dressed in protective suits, named doctors and nurses, dancing on the streets of Chinese cities really the ones who combat the virus before, or just another actor paid to show up the happiness?

Are the Czech politicians lead by Prime minister and Finance minister the right ones to deliver the facts, or just show up being happy nobody speaks about their frauds, losses and bad decisions which are on the edge with criminal acting?

How would it look like would be decided NOW and HERE!

At the moment when I finish these lines, the Czech Prime Minister announced the closing of all schools, universities, and events with more than 100 people, following steps done by other countries. He does it before the number of infected in 10M country reached 50 people.

At this moment are globally infected 130.000 people from the global population of 7.700.000.000. It is significantly fewer people than the number of people infected at the same time with influenza, the number of people killed in car crash accidents or people killed in running war conflicts around the globe.

The global politicians are closing the doors, not looking for a true solution, having no idea of the possible consequences for the majority of people worldwide.

I do not follow the same direction, for me, the Wasteless Future is the end of my journey and closing the door will mean I lost. Since the beginning of the outbreak, I was able to utilize my network and knowledge and secure protective face masks and filters, I wm working on a solution to allow disinfection not only personal but disinfection of big spaces which will kill viruses and disinfects the areas with the big amount of people working in or visiting. Our intention is not to deliver a single-use solution but true SOLUTION OF TODAY creating the FUTURE OF TOMORROW.

The future is handmade and the hands are ours, let us use them together following one and only aim THE WASTLESS WORLD and BAN is WASTE.
